Privacy

The short version: I collect your first name, your email address and your rough settlement volume so I can send you the Audit and a weekly email. I don’t sell lists, I don’t share them and I don’t cold-call people who download things.

Who I am

The entity responsible for your personal information is UConnect (International) Pty Ltd, ABN 38 159 803 611, of 90 Dalmeny Drive, Prestons NSW 2170, Australia. If you want anything on this page explained, changed or actioned, email david@uconnect.com.au and a person will answer.

What I collect

  • What you type into the form. Your first name, your email address and the band you pick for settlements a month.
  • Where you came from. If you arrived from a link with tracking parameters on it — a YouTube description, for instance — those parameters and the referring page are stored alongside your enquiry so I know which content is worth making more of.
  • Anonymous usage statistics. If analytics is switched on, aggregate page views and events. Not linked to you by name.

I don’t ask for and don’t want anything about your clients, your matters or your files.

What I do with it

Send you the Audit, then send you one short email a week about running a conveyancing practice with fewer moving parts. That’s the whole list. Every email has a working one-click unsubscribe, and using it takes you off the list immediately and permanently.

I don’t sell your details, rent them, trade them or hand them to anyone for their own marketing.

Who else touches it

Your details are stored in my customer relationship management system, which also sends the emails. The site itself is served by a hosting provider. Both are engaged to process the data on my instructions and for no other purpose.

One sentence naming the CRM (GoHighLevel) and the host, and where each stores the data. Keep it plain. This should match the data-handling answer on the sales page so the two can’t contradict each other.

How long I keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, whichever comes first. Ask and it goes — you don’t need to give a reason.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email david@uconnect.com.au and I’ll action it. If you think I’ve mishandled your information, tell me first — and if you’re not satisfied with how I deal with it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics is switched on, the analytics provider sets its own cookies to count visits. Blocking them in your browser changes nothing about how the site works for you.
